The hotel is located right at the esplanade, next to many restaurants and cafes. The service provided by the staff was amazing, and the rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities. The breakfast served fresh pancakes and fresh fruit, making it a great start to the day.

The modern private rooms come with air conditioning and are clean. The common areas are fun to socialize in and there is an option to go to a nearby beer garden for a night out.

The shared bathrooms can be uncomfortable as they do not have locks and the shower floors can be dirty.

I had an amazing Christmas stay at a waterfront hotel in Cairns. the location was unbeatable. It was right on the esplanade, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach and the bustling night market. Plus, it was a short 10-minute walk to the Reef Fleet Terminal, making it super convenient for my diving cruise check-in.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. One issue was the loud noise coming from the bar.

I had a fantastic stay at Mad Monkey Backpackers Waterfront. The location was unbeatable, with a beautiful esplanade and plenty of restaurants nearby. The highlight for me was the free use of the gym, a great addition for a centrally located hostel. I highly recommend this place.

I had a great time at Mad Monkey Waterfront! The location was perfect, right next to the waterfront restaurants and market place. The private rooms were nice and clean, and the free breakfast was amazing. I loved the variety of options, from cereal and yogurt to pancakes and fruits. The gym access was a bonus, especially since it was well-equipped. The staff was also very helpful and provided great local tips. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was spot on! It was great to be so close to all the best attractions and activities. I also enjoyed the friendly staff who were happy to help and give recommendations. the complimentary breakfast was delicious and a nice way to start the day!

The noise level could be improved. Unfortunately, I found it hard to sleep with all the noise outside, especially in the early morning.
